BACKGROUND
Before entering into the Real Estate field, Heather attended CSUN and worked in both sales and apartment management. After graduating CSUN, Heather decided to turn her passion for real estate into a full-time career.
In 1995, Heather joined an award-winning team of professionals at RE/MAX of Valencia. While there, Heather oversaw the training of several agents, managed a Top Producing office, was in charge of Marketing and Accounting, and worked directly with buyers and sellers in their home buying/selling process.
In early 2001, Heather decided to move her business closer to home, and she joined REMAX Gold Coast in Simi Valley. With REMAX Gold Coast, Heather was a consistant Top Producer, and continued to expand her knowledge of real estate and its trends.
FAMILY
Growing up in Newhall and Valencia (Santa Clarita Valley), Heather graduated from Hart High School and went on to local colleges where she graduated with a BA in history.
In 1995, after finishing her degree, Heather decided to go to work with her mother, Monica Barkley, a Top Producer with RE/MAX of Valencia. Monica, who has over 32 years of real estate experience, and Heather worked together until 2001 when Heather decided to relocate her business to the Ventura County area full-time.
"I guess you can say real estate is in my blood. My mom is a full-time Realtor with RE/MAX of Valencia, my grandmother sold real estate until she retired in the 1980s, my cousin now works with my mom and her team, and my step-father and mom meet as Realtors."
